Let's take a look at some examples of scripting languages. The languages presented below are not, of course, an exhaustive list of existing scripting languages, but a sample of the best-known ones. Naturally, we don't intend to give a complete overview of any particular language. Instead, we briefly describe some of its features, and list a few addresses where the interested reader can find further information (or sources of information).
