In short, the solution developed on FPGA circuitry needs to be portable to the SoC (System-on-Chip) world. By extension, it is also interesting to study the portability of the solution on an ASIC (non-reconfigurable) circuit, or even on a heterogeneous platform combining an FPGA circuit and a hard processor (Xilinx's Zynq platform, for example).
Since the solution uses a communication protocol developed by ARM, it could also be compatible with TrustZone technology, which offers a more complete secure environment in terms of hardware and software (using virtualization techniques in particular). The solution...
