5. ISO/IEC 25000 standard

5.1 Context

In fact, this is a set of standards for which not all documents have yet been published. This series of standards concerns the quality requirements for a software product and the implementation of their evaluation. Software Quality Requirements and Evaluation (SQuaRE).

The main differences with ISO/IEC 9126 and ISO/IEC 14598 are a new general reference model and several detailed guides. In time, SQuaRE should replace these two previous standards.
