3. Conclusion
The rapid evolution of satellite technologies is leading to a significant increase in the number of satellites in the low-layer, which could lead to physical and frequency congestion. There are many avenues open to these developments, so regulations are reluctant to commit themselves to solutions that could interfere with the operation of existing satellite systems.
Nonetheless, decisions will have to be taken at global level to avoid blocking the development and expansion of this sector, whose dynamism underpins many areas of activity.
