Radar Equivalent Surface (SER); Radar Cross Section (RCS)
Physical quantity dependent on the energy diffracted by a target illuminated by a given incident wave, defined for an infinite target-receiver distance and homogeneous to a surface. In monostatic configuration, this quantity corresponds to a measure of the target's reflectivity.
Dimension caractéristique d'une cible; Characteristic dimension of a target
Length defined as the largest dimension of the shadow cast by the target. It depends on the orientation of the target.
