Legacy ; legacy

Legacy" refers to older systems (versus newer technologies). Note that the term Legacy is also used to designate software functionalities inherited over the course of different software versions.

Migration; migration

Action of moving data or software from one computer system to another.

Obsolescence; obsolescence

Transition from the state of availability to the state of unavailability of an entity from its manufacturer in accordance with the original specification ( IEC 62402, (2019) ).
