3. Billing

Invoicing for IMS services is the result of a series of operations carried out via a complex invoicing architecture that enables both the user's account to be debited during a call or after resources have been used, and fine-tuned invoicing according to the resources and services actually used.

3.1 General billing principles

Service billing is based on a series of processes, from the collection of billing information from network nodes to customer payment, as illustrated in figure 28 .
