5. Conclusion

EnSuite is an IP network management platform based on Netconf, a next-generation network configuration protocol currently being standardized by the IETF. EnSuite consists of a manager providing a Web user interface and an agent designed to run on network equipment. EnSuite is developed in Python under LGPL license.

EnSuite successfully took part in the "MOME Interoperability testing event", organized to test interoperability between existing Netconf implementations. The event took place at the 63rd IETF meeting in Paris in July 2005. Other participants included Wipro, Nec, and Postech, a Korean university.
