2.1 General information on synthesis
We have seen in the previous paragraphs how the various antenna elements work, and now we have to tackle the essential problem of synthesizing the complete antenna. Insofar as the methods used for an antenna in progressive or resonant mode are relatively similar, we will deal with the case of the antenna in resonant mode. This choice is justified on the one hand because this antenna is more complex due to its greater sectorization and more elaborate distribution circuits, but also because this type of antenna is more widely used than the progressive-mode antenna.
