5. Ultra-wideband propagation
ULB (Ultra Wide Band) systems use signals over a very wide frequency range (500 MHz to several GHz) in the 3.1-10 GHz band. Their broad spectral support and high temporal resolution enable them to transmit at very high data rates, up to several hundred Mbits/s. To assess their performance, broadband attenuation models have been proposed, based on radio channel measurement data.
