5. Conclusions
This article details the complete operation of the Dual Active Bridge DC-DC converter from a topological point of view, along with a few dimensioning elements with a view to its technological realization. This converter offers interesting features such as reversibility and low stored energy, making it competitive for applications with high mass densities.
Nevertheless, this topology is highly sensitive to input and output voltage ranges, and the numerous control options offered by the presence of two inverters are a lever for minimizing constraints. On this occasion, the first-harmonic approach is presented to simplify the study, subject to certain assumptions.
