5. Mixed antenna array and focusing system
For some applications, mixed antennas are used, combining an array and a focusing system. Here are three examples.
5.1 Mixed antenna for scanning in a small, solid angle
In the example shown in figure 102 , we use the properties of a paraboloid to vary the beam direction by moving the source in the focal plane.
