4. Special features on HVB cables

The electrical measurement methods described above generally make it easy to locate faults on HV cables.

However, in the case of oil and gas cables, special methods can be used to locate leaks of one of these fluids. In addition, we will be examining methods for locating defects in the sheathing or coating of pipes, with or without cathodic protection.
