6. Prefabricated pipelines
6.1 General
For power distribution in workshops, industrial buildings and office blocks, as well as for point-to-point transport, prefabricated conduits are used, in the category of switchgear assemblies, and, for lighting requirements with limited power, luminaires.
These are, in fact, sets of bars produced in a variety of ways.
These prefabricated pipes are accompanied by a wide range of connection accessories (straight, angle, T-joints, etc.) and connections (single, T-branches, feeders, etc.), which can also incorporate control and protection devices.
They are generally housed in a metal casing whose rigidity reduces the number of fixing or suspension points.
