4. Conclusion
Drawing up an energy balance, a seemingly simple problem, is hampered by the absence or incompleteness of data (asset, operating, technical and financial). Of the two main terms in a balance sheet, only technical losses can, in theory, be calculated deterministically. Non-technical losses, on the other hand, result from subtracting the above from the energy balance per voltage level.
As each operation is unique, this article aims to define the various terms used in an energy balance, before giving theoretical tools to be applied according to the data available. The practical implementation of these tools is presented in the form of use cases for each of the tools presented above and for each voltage level.
