3.1 General

In electromagnetic spectra, electrical waves cover a frequency range from 1 Hz to 1 THz (10 12 Hz) (see figure 8 ). Higher in frequency, we find optical rays (light, IR) and ionizing rays (X-rays, γ-rays).
