11. Conclusion

This article could have been given other titles, such as "Introduction to vector spaces in electrical engineering". Although the main methods and results used by modern authors have been described, it is easy to see that many variants could have been introduced. In particular, we have favored the "instantaneous symmetric component" or "Fortescue" approach, which takes advantage of the compactness of expressions written in complex terms. But Park's transformation is relegated to the rank of historical anecdote. The opposite choice could have been made, at the cost of various computational complications.
