4. Ventilation for single-family homes
4.1 General
Ventilation can be either natural or controlled mechanical (CMV), with single or double flow. It ensures optimum air renewal, and extracts stale air from homes.
For air-conditioned premises, the CMV enables air to be renewed by controlling the quantity of air renewed.
Coupled with a ground-coupled heat exchanger or geothermal heat exchanger, it naturally cools the home.
