3.1 Important information applicable to RT 2012 since January 1, 2015

Change of name for living space
RT 2012 introduced the SHONRT (surface hors œuvre nette au sens de la RT), which has now been replaced by the SRT (surface thermique au sens de la RT). It's just a change of name, since the calculation remains the same. This surface area corresponds to the sum of the horizontal surface areas of each floor, including bare walls and deducting attics and basements that can't be converted or are not being converted, flat roofs, unheated verandas, balconies, loggias and rooms reserved for vehicle parking.
