4. Manufacturing techniques
Parquet manufacturing can be broken down into three stages: drying, machining and sorting.
As homes become increasingly heated, parquet floors need to be delivered drier and drier. That's why drying is so important, and must be done with the utmost care.
Machining must be extremely precise, so that after installation, the parquet elements fit exactly together. Sorting, which has a major impact on the product's market value and therefore on the parquet manufacturer's profitability, is carried out before, during or after production, depending on the technique used.
