4. Feed fluids

The following are considered to be food fluids:

  • fruit juices and soft drinks;

  • dairy products ;

  • alcoholic beverages, spirits and vinegars ;

  • edible oils ;

  • mineral water.

The installer must take precautions when building the networks for transporting any food fluids.

The pipes must meet sanitary standards and not affect the taste quality of these products. To achieve this, it is necessary to consider the physical and chemical qualities of the water (turbidity, acidity, viscosity, etc.); stainless steel and certain plastics may be preferred to copper.
