This type of roofing uses tiles with a flat eaves corresponding to a general appearance different from that of common tiles known as relief tiles, and must comply with NF DTU 40.211 P1-1 (April 2015): Travaux de bâtiment – Couvertures en tuiles de terre cuite à embîtement à pureau plat – Part 1-1: Cahier des clauses techniques types.
