
4. Dimensioning and layout
4.1 Rating characters
The arrangement of dimensions on a drawing is chosen so as to make its purpose clear and to allow easy interpretation of its destination (manufacturing, layout, assembly, on-site execution of a work, etc.).
Dimensional values are indicated on drawings in a font of sufficient size to ensure good legibility; it is recommended not to go below 2.5 mm.
