6. Conclusion
Formwork is an expensive part of the building process. A regional construction company does not have a large fleet of equipment, and depreciates this equipment over a large number of years; it is not uncommon to see 20-year-old formworks still in use, and operating procedures have not changed.
A national-level company amortizes this formwork equipment over a shorter period of time; the equipment evolves (spreader bar...), the weight decreases, but the basic principle is the same.
Construction methods have changed. We moved from walls cast in situ to prefabricated walls, then assembled in a factory.
