4.1 Solution A
Air inlets for intercommunication devices have their upper edge no more than 1 m above the floor.
Smoke extraction outlets on intercommunication devices have their bottom part at least 1.80 m above the floor and are located entirely in the upper third of the device.
The air supply and smoke extraction vents of intercommunication devices are fitted with flame-retardant shutters rated at 1 h or E 60, closed in the standby position.
