7. Inspections and visits

7.1 Maintenance and checks (article PS 32)

Electrical installations, mechanical smoke extraction systems, signalling devices, alarm systems, fire detection and safety systems, fire-fighting equipment, fire-stop devices and air quality monitoring systems are all subject to regular maintenance by a qualified professional.

On these occasions, operating tests are carried out at least once every 2 years for fleets with a capacity of 250 vehicles or less, and once a year for other fleets.

These installations, with the exception of air quality monitoring systems, are checked by an approved body when they are commissioned, and at least once every 5 years thereafter.
