2. Standardization of building inspection
Under the terms of article R. 111-39 of the French Construction and Housing Code, the mandatory technical inspection covers "the soundness of the viability, foundation, framing, enclosure and roofing works and the equipment elements that are inseparably linked to these works, as well as the safety conditions of people in the constructions".
