2. Mechanical demolition

Over the last ten years or so, demolition companies have entered into a long partnership with manufacturers of hydraulic excavators. With a view to reducing drudgery and safety risks in the workplace, companies have also been faced with a change in the nature of the buildings to be demolished.

Demolition methods have therefore been adapted to reinforced and prestressed concrete structures, as well as to steel structures. From earthmoving machines, modified by the intuition of demolition professionals, excavator manufacturers have progressively extended their ranges by offering adapted machines.
