3. Conclusion

Damages-ouvrage insurance has become standard practice, enabling us to find amicable solutions to a number of disputes that used to take much longer to settle in the courts. The time has now come to regulate practices: the introduction by the public authorities of the standardized ten-year insurance certificate, and the clarification by case law of the operation of Dommages-ouvrage insurance, are the most recent examples.
