2. Different aesthetic criteria
In this section, we'll look at the rather specific aesthetic criteria associated with the use of UHPC (particularly in the form of facade elements or furniture, for both interiors and exteriors). The appearance defects of these ultra-high-performance formulations are quite different from those of more common concretes , notably due to the absence of gravel but also to a higher proportion of cement in the initial mix.
