2.1 HV bolts
These bolts are very common on the European market, as they are less expensive than HR bolts. Initially conforming to the specifications of a German DIN standard (their name comes from the German "Hochfest Vorgespann" meaning "high strength for prestressing"), they are now standardized at European level (standard NF EN 14399-4) and can be used as high-strength bolts suitable for prestressing.
Screw and nut are marked "HV". The washers are for the HR system.
Their mechanical characteristics differ from those of HR bolts:
