3. Quality control

3.1 Objectives

The role of the "concrete manufacturing" function is to reproduce identically, instantaneously (homogeneity) and over time (stability), a concrete composition that reflects the theoretical composition described by the formulation. The aim of quality control is :

  • to ensure that all actions are directed towards this goal;

  • ensure that the entire cycle runs according to plan;

  • inform the plant operator as soon as an anomaly occurs in the manufacturing cycle, before it becomes a non-conformity;

  • to provide the "customer" with the information he needs to predict what will happen to the concrete and, if necessary, to take the necessary...
