3. Mixed slab calculation

3.1 Stress analysis (determination of internal forces)

The following analysis methods can be used for the ultimate limit states:

  • the analysis is carried out using a linear elastic method for a continuous mixed slab of unit width (1 m) assimilated to a beam of constant inertia (figure c, line ). The inertia of the uncracked section is then considered. The effects of cracking on support can be taken into account by reducing the moment on support (maximum reduction of 30%) and increasing the moments...
