Clearly, the activity carried out in a room is a determining factor in the organization of the visual ambience. However, for a given activity, it is often the case that several options, often two, are possible.
Let's take the case of a restaurant, for example. A certain number of characteristics will be imposed by regulations or recommendations. The fact remains, however, that a choice has to be made from the outset, which is not the responsibility of the lighting designer, since it determines to a large extent the image of the establishment.
