The PVC window market has reached maturity thanks to an unprecedented framework of standards, assessment and certification. This has helped to limit pathologies and build a level of trust among customers and users that is unrivalled in Europe.
We must remain vigilant, as the quality and durability of this material are highly dependent on the quality and control of the entire PVC window production chain, which is a complex process involving a multitude of players.
The PVC sector has been able to constantly renew itself and meet the many challenges posed by the evolution of the construction sector in general. Lead stabilization has been replaced by calcium/zinc stabilization. PVC recycling for windows is now perfectly mastered. What remains to be done, however, is to organize the collection of used windows, which by definition are scattered...
