3. Shower trays

The law makes it compulsory for all building permits submitted from 1 er January 2010 to make showers accessible to wheelchair users: the shower tray must not present an obstacle greater than 20 mm at the entrance or exit.

  • These units are available in the following materials: ceramic, steel, cast iron, synthetic materials. They can be floor-mounted (figure 7 a) or recessed (figure 7 b).
