5. Plasterwork

5.1 Plaster-coated ceilings, partitions and linings

The essential constructive provisions for vertical walls, lining partitions and cladding are given in the Masonry section. Design of structures . As far as plasters themselves are concerned, they are governed by DTU 25.1. It should be noted in passing that the use of modern plasters has been greatly facilitated by the progress made in their formulation: these products have longer working times and setting kinetics which significantly improve working conditions, and in particular the arduousness involved.
