Most laboratories conducting research into thermoacoustic systems design their circuits and acoustic elements using their own numerical models and simulations, usually 1D, or using DeltaE software [14] . All these simulations are based on the wave equation, or more precisely on the two relations that define it (see article [BE 8 060] ):
