7. Natural gas
The use of natural gas is growing rapidly. Its advantage is that it produces less CO 2 than coal or oil during combustion (figure 7 ), since it is essentially made up of methane CH 4 . Hydrogen atoms lead to water during combustion. Although water vapor is a powerful greenhouse gas (it contributes more than half of the natural greenhouse effect), the human contribution to the concentration of water vapor in the atmosphere is negligible and does not contribute to increasing the anthropogenic greenhouse effect....
