3.1 Data unification in the digital environment
Although subject to constant evolution since the emergence of IT tools, as summarized in figure 19 , the digital chain is still structured on a unidirectional data exchange model. Thus, a modification made at the machine cannot be passed on to the CAD/CAM suite, and it is therefore necessary to go back to the CAM stage to benefit permanently from a trajectory improvement identified at the DCN level.
