2. Assembly strategies

As described above, NP chain organization can be either spontaneous, due to the existence of strong dipolar interactions between objects, or induced. Generally speaking, induced organization is obtained by applying an external magnetic field, but also by different strategies based on chemistry and/or using different technological tools. The latter involves, for example, the use of electrospinning in the presence of a magnetic field, or microfluidics. These different aspects are presented below.
