DNA (desoxyribonucleic acid); deoxyribonucleic acid
A macromolecule that carries genetic information, formed by the concatenation of nucleotides, themselves made up of a nucleic base (adenine, guanine, thymine, cytosine), a phosphate group and a sugar (deoxyribose).
