5. Different synthesis routes for thermal nanocomposites

Various approaches to the synthesis and deposition of thermal nanocomposites have been considered in the literature and will be presented in this article. We can classify them into 3 categories according to their nature:

  • traditional" synthesis approaches;

  • synthesis approaches inspired by microtechnologies;

  • nanotechnologies and bottom-up development methods, including nano-patterning and self-assembly.
