3. Risk control measures

3.1 Choosing a projection risk management strategy

The risk assessment of an installation can sometimes show that the projection risk is unacceptable, either directly on people, or through the potential domino effects induced, provided that they were initially integrated into the approach, i.e. that targets, which could lead to an overaccident if hit by one or more projectiles, had been previously identified.

It may therefore be necessary to implement additional measures to eliminate the risk at source or, more reasonably, to limit its occurrence or consequences.
