Danger; hazard

The intrinsic property of a substance or situation to create damage.

Epidemiology

Study of health phenomena in populations.

Risk; risk

Probability of occurrence of a health phenomenon in a given population over a given period of time.

Sous-réaction; under-reaction

Situation in which the residual risk after action is greater than the risk that could have been avoided.

Over-reaction

Situation in which the risk induced by the action is greater than the initial risk.
