Climate change
A sustained and statistically significant change over a given period in the parameters that describe the Earth's global climate. Temperature is one of the parameters most frequently described to illustrate climate change, with successive periods of cooling and warming of the Earth's middle atmosphere over geological and historical time. Currently, climate change evokes the global warming observed in the Earth's atmosphere since the industrial revolution and granted for the IPCC to the evolution of atmospheric CO 2 content.
