3.1 Raw materials

In the examples shown here, the raw materials used to manufacture the various types of mortar are cement, sand, polyurethane foam and water.

3.1.1 Cement

Standards EN 998-1 and EN 998-2 do not specify the types of cement to be used in these masonry mortars: they only mention the characteristics of the raw materials needed to obtain a finished product that complies with the requirements of the standard.
