2. Recycling methods

2.1 Presentation of the various strategies envisaged

The recovery of plastic waste from a given deposit requires a number of basic elements to be taken into account before finalizing a recovery strategy: mechanical, chemical or energetic. This analysis is the key to the project's success. The various elements to be taken into account are numerous, and we will only mention the most significant here. The RECORD Association (cf. ) has developed a comprehensive decision-support tool for this purpose, taking into account the following key criteria.
