  • Toxicity of raw materials

    The mixtures are composed of aliphatic diolefins (dicyclopentadiene CAS No. 77-73-6 for the most part). These products can be irritating to skin and eyes.

    The criterion to be met is the average exposure value (AVE), which in France is set at 5 ppm or 30 mg/m 3 for 8 hours.

    It should be noted that the olfactory detection value is 0.003 ppm.

  • Precautions and protection

    In view of the toxicity involved, it is necessary to provide workplace exhaust ventilation, and to wear gloves and goggles.
