2. Materials studied
The results presented compare the mechanical properties of a reference mortar with those of a mortar incorporating 30% rubber aggregates. The effects of reinforcing with metal fibers (40 kg/m 3 ) with or without rubber aggregates were also evaluated.
To make the document easier to read, we have adopted the following nomenclature: the number preceding the letter "C" represents the volume fraction of rubber aggregates (%) and the number preceding the letter "F" indicates the fiber dosage (in kg/m 3 ).
